Perfect Hot Chocolate

There is something wonderful about a nice mug of hot chocolate. To make the ultimate mug of hot chocolate, just follow the easy steps below.

You will need:

1. One large mug
2. Your favorite hot cocoa mix (I like dark chocolate, though milk chocolate or mocha works well. White chocolate is not to my taste at all. For this drink anyway...)
3. Hot water or warmed milk. (If you use milk, be sure that you do not scald it. That ruins the hot chocolate.)
4. One stick of peppermint. (Candy canes are perfect.)
5. A shot of peppermint schnapps
6. Whipped cream

Prepare your hot chocolate by following the instructions on the package with the following changes:

1. Add 1 or 2 more scoops of powder.
2. Leave room in the mug for the schnapps and whipped cream

Stir the mixture with the peppermint stick and add the schnapps. Leave the stick in and top with the whipped cream. There you go! Enjoy.
